sec.218 Regulation-making power

The Governor in Council may make regulations for the purposes of this Act. A regulation may be made with respect to any of the following matters— the preparation and approval of plans and documents for the purposes of this Act; the plans and documents that may be lodged under this Act in the land registry; the registration in the land registry of plans and documents; the nomination and election of— the chairperson, secretary and treasurer of community bodies corporate and precinct bodies corporate; and other members of the executive committees of community bodies corporate and precinct bodies corporate; the powers and functions of community bodies corporate and precinct bodies corporate. A regulation may create offences and prescribe penalties of not more than 4 penalty units for the offences. s 218 amd 1999 No. 30 s 98 sch 3 pt 1 ; 2004 No. 53 s 2 sch ; 2021 No. 12 s 148 sch 3 (sec.218-ssec.1) The Governor in Council may make regulations for the purposes of this Act. (sec.218-ssec.3) A regulation may create offences and prescribe penalties of not more than 4 penalty units for the offences.

• (a) the preparation and approval of plans and documents for the purposes of this Act;

• (d) the nomination and election of— (i) the chairperson, secretary and treasurer of community bodies corporate and precinct bodies corporate; and (ii) other members of the executive committees of community bodies corporate and precinct bodies corporate;

• (e) the powers and functions of community bodies corporate and precinct bodies corporate.
