Tasmania regulation
This instrument sets its own short title, makes the order take effect on the day it is notified in the Gazette, and specifies that the Misuse of Drugs Act 2001 is the Principal Act; it also records that the amendments it effects are incorporated into the authorised version of that Act. It mainly affects administrators and users of the authorised legislation (who consult or enforce the Misuse of Drugs Act). The activation mechanism is Gazette notification (cl.2); the order itself does not impose fees or new offences.
