Tasmania regulation
This Order records that certain amendments have been incorporated into the authorised text of the Misuse of Drugs Act 2001 (cl.3) and takes effect when its Gazette notice appears (cl.2). It is administered by the Department of Justice and Industrial Relations. Mechanically, the instrument is procedural: it gives legal effect to prior amendments by updating the authorised statute text. Any compliance costs fall on persons regulated by the Misuse of Drugs Act; administrative costs fall on enforcement bodies. To see substantive rule changes, consult the amended Act itself.
