42 Exemptions Despite anything contained in this Act, a person who: (a) is in possession of a dangerous drug which has been supplied to that person by or on the lawful prescription of an authorised prescriber; or (b) administers a dangerous drug to another person in accordance with the lawful directions of a medical practitioner, dentist or optometrist, is not guilty of an offence against this Act.
