28 Fines A person found guilty of an offence against Part II, in addition to any other penalty, may be ordered to pay a fine the amount of which is not limited by section 16 of the Sentencing Act 1995 and in default of payment of that fine the person may be ordered to be imprisoned for not longer than 3 years notwithstanding that it may extend the term of imprisonment beyond the longest term to which the person might be sentenced to imprisonment without fine.
