11B Service of notices under this Division (1) A notice under this Division may be served on a person by: (a) handing it to the person; (b) posting it to the person at the person's last known postal address or place of residence or business; or (c) leaving it for the person at the person's last known place of residence or business with some other person apparently resident or employed there and apparently over the age of 16 years. (2) A notice under this Division is taken to be served on a person although it is not addressed to a named person if: (a) it is addressed "to the owner", "to the landlord", "to the tenant" or "to the resident"; (b) it is posted to or left at a place of residence or business; and (c) the person is an owner, landlord, tenant or resident at that place of residence or business.
