#### 39B Eligibility for appointment as member of Arbitration Panel 39B Eligibility for appointment as member of Arbitration Panel > For the purposes of section 139 (3) of the Act, a person is eligible for appointment as a member of the Arbitration Panel if— > > > (a) the person— > > > > > (i) is an arbitration or mediation professional who holds an accreditation or membership with a relevant professional body, or > > > > > (ii) has at least 7 years arbitration or mediation experience, and > > > (b) the person— > > > > > (i) has at least 7 years agricultural or resources experience, or > > > > > (ii) is an Australian legal practitioner of at least 7 years standing who has extensive litigation experience. > > > (c) (Repealed) > > **cl 39B:** Ins 2016 (719), Sch 2 \[2\].
