sec.97 Communicating with workers working alone underground
This section applies to a worker who is working alone underground at a mine and is not in frequent communication with, or within easy hearing of, another person at the mine. The site senior executive for the mine must ensure the worker is communicated with at intervals of not more than 2 hours. This section does not apply at a mine where only 1 person works. s 97 amd 2019 SL No. 140 s 21 sch 1 (sec.97-ssec.1) This section applies to a worker who is working alone underground at a mine and is not in frequent communication with, or within easy hearing of, another person at the mine. (sec.97-ssec.2) The site senior executive for the mine must ensure the worker is communicated with at intervals of not more than 2 hours. (sec.97-ssec.3) This section does not apply at a mine where only 1 person works.
