sec.67 Storing, transporting, using and disposing of explosives
A mine’s safety and health management system must provide for— the safe and secure storage and transport of explosives at the mine; and the safe use and disposal of the explosives. However, if the mine is not required to have a safety and health management system under the Act , the site senior executive for the mine must ensure the mine has a procedure or standard work instruction for the matters mentioned in subsection (1) (a) and (b) . s 67 amd 2019 SL No. 140 s 21 sch 1 (sec.67-ssec.1) A mine’s safety and health management system must provide for— the safe and secure storage and transport of explosives at the mine; and the safe use and disposal of the explosives. (sec.67-ssec.2) However, if the mine is not required to have a safety and health management system under the Act , the site senior executive for the mine must ensure the mine has a procedure or standard work instruction for the matters mentioned in subsection (1) (a) and (b) .
- (a) the safe and secure storage and transport of explosives at the mine; and
- (b) the safe use and disposal of the explosives.
