sec.145F Provision of changing and washing facilities
A site senior executive for a mine must provide and maintain in good working order changing rooms and washing, showering and toilet facilities at the mine so as to— minimise secondary lead exposure from contaminated clothing; and minimise ingestion of lead; and avoid the spread of lead contamination. The site senior executive must ensure workers at the mine remove clothing and equipment that is or is likely to be contaminated with lead, and wash their hands and faces, before entering an eating or drinking area at the mine. s 145F ins 2020 SL No. 108 s 12 sub 2023 SL No. 71 s 12 (sec.145F-ssec.1) A site senior executive for a mine must provide and maintain in good working order changing rooms and washing, showering and toilet facilities at the mine so as to— minimise secondary lead exposure from contaminated clothing; and minimise ingestion of lead; and avoid the spread of lead contamination.
