#### 82 Certain resumptions, conveyances and transfers not to affect mining lease 82 Certain resumptions, conveyances and transfers not to affect mining lease > The conveyance, transfer or compulsory acquisition of land by or under any other Act or law (including the conveyance or transfer of the land under section 722 of the [Local Government Act 1993](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1993-030)) does not affect a mining lease, or any rights under a mining lease, and the mining lease and those rights continue to have effect as if the land had not been conveyed, transferred or acquired. > > **s 82:** Am 1995 No 11, Sch 1 \[1\].
