292YD Recovery of costs

(1) This section applies to a person who has failed to pay a liability the subject of an order under this division.

(2) The Secretary may recover from the person, as a debt in a court of competent jurisdiction, any costs or expenses incurred by the Crown arising from the order, including the costs or expenses arising from—

(a) the placement of a fixed charge on a mining lease in connection to the order, and

(b) the registration of a caveat in connection with the fixed charge.
