292YA Orders to declare unpaid royalties and other amounts
> > (1) The Minister may, by order, declare a person has not paid a royalty liability payable to the Crown.
>
> > (2) The Secretary may, by order, declare a person has not paid a security deposit liability payable to the Crown.
>
> > (3) An order under this section may specify one or more mining leases held by the person, whether jointly or not, for which a charge is to be created on by operation of section 292YB to secure payment to the Crown of the liability specified in the order.
>
> > (4) The Minister or Secretary must take reasonable steps to notify the person to whom the order relates of the order.

> > (5) In this section—
> >
> > royalty liability means the amount of one or more of the following—
> >
> > > (a) royalties payable under this Act,
> >
> > > (b) interest, penalty tax and other penalties and costs payable under the [Taxation Administration Act 1996](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1996-097) in relation to the royalties payable.

> > security deposit liability means the amount of a security deposit payable under a security deposit condition for a mining lease.
