#### 285 Rate of royalty 285 Rate of royalty > Royalty is payable under this Division— > > > (a) except as provided by paragraph (b)—at the base rate prescribed under section 283 (1) (a) in respect of the mineral concerned, or > > > (b) in the case of a mineral other than coal—at such other rate as may be agreed on between the holder of the mineral claim or authority concerned and the owner of the mineral.
