#### 250 Surveys and ore sampling 250 Surveys and ore sampling > > (1) The Minister may grant a permit to any registered surveyor, or any officer of the Department, to enter any land for any of the following purposes— > > > > > (a) the carrying out of any geological, geophysical, geochemical or other survey of the land, > > > > > (b) the removal of soil, rock, mineral or ore samples from the land. > > > (2) The holder of a permit under this section, and any employee, agent or assistant of the holder, may, in accordance with the permit— > > > > > (a) enter the land to which the permit relates, and > > > > > (b) do on that land all such things as are reasonably necessary to achieve the purpose for which the permit was granted. > > **s 250:** Subst 1996 No 137, Sch 1 \[98\].
