#### 106 Existing mineral claims outside mineral claims districts 106 Existing mineral claims outside mineral claims districts > > (1) A mineral claim over land that is outside a mineral claims district, and that was in force immediately before the commencement of this clause, is taken to be a mining lease over that land. > > > (2) An application for a mineral claim over land that is outside a mineral claims district that was not determined before the commencement of this clause is taken to be an application for a mining lease under this Act. > > > (3) The regulations may make provision for or with respect to the application of this Act to a mining lease referred to in subclause (1), and may, for that purpose, modify the application of this Act or the regulations.
