45 Shape of proposed title area (1) This regulation applies to an application for the grant of a mineral title other than an EL or EMEL. (2) The proposed title area must be in the shape of a rectangle, the length of which must not exceed twice the width, unless: (a) a topographic feature or cadastral boundary of the Territory makes that shape impracticable; and (b) the Minister approves another shape. Examples of boundaries for subregulation (2)(a) 1 A topographic feature such as a river or mountain ridge. 2 A cadastral boundary of Aboriginal land or pastoral land. 46 Application fees (1) The application fee payable for an application mentioned in Schedule 1, Part 1 is specified opposite the application. (2) A person who pays an application fee is not entitled to a refund of any of the amount paid, even if the application is refused.
