101 When consent required to fossick on pastoral land For section 139(3) of the Act, a person who intends to fossick on pastoral land requires the written consent of the occupier of the land if the area on which the fossicking is to be conducted: (a) is, at that time, clearly and actively being used for a particular pastoral activity; or (b) is within 2 km of a homestead; or (c) is within 1 km of a stockyard or an artificial watering point.
