3 Objects of Act The objects of this Act are as follows: (a) to establish a framework for granting and regulating mineral titles that authorise exploration for, and extraction and processing of, minerals and extractive minerals; (b) to facilitate the commercialisation of activities conducted under mineral titles by authorising the creation and transfer of interests in the titles; (c) to authorise other activities relating to minerals or extractive minerals to be conducted without mineral titles.
