Tasmania regulation
This order declares specific parcels of land listed in Schedule 1 to be exempt from the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995, removing that Act’s regulatory requirements for those areas (s 3). The exemption takes effect when the order is notified in the Gazette (s 2) and is shown on the accompanying plan (Schedule 2). That means people proposing or carrying out mineral-related activity on the named land no longer need to comply with the MRD Act’s controls for those parcels.
