Tasmania regulation
Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 is declared to apply to two specifically mapped land parcels shown as Plans 6306 and 6305 in the schedules and plans. Mechanically, those parcels are brought within the Act's licensing, approval and compliance rules.
The order primarily affects landowners, prospective miners, and regulators: developers and licence-holders pick up compliance costs and approval obligations, while the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources administers decisions. The instrument does not amend the Act’s substantive provisions; it extends the Act’s geographic coverage.
