### 89 Sublease > > (1)  The lessee may apply to the Minister for approval to sublease a lease or part of a lease to another person. > > > (2)  [*\[Section 89 Subsection (2) amended by No. 24 of 2013, s. 90, Applied:28 Jun 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-06-28/act-2013-024#GS90@EN) An application for approval to sublease a lease or part of a lease is to be– > > > > > > (a) in an approved form; and > > > > > > > (b) accompanied by the instrument of sublease; and > > > > > > > (c) accompanied by the prescribed fee; and > > > > > > > (d) lodged with the Registrar within 28 days after the sublease is signed. > > > (3)  The Registrar may extend the period referred to in [subsection (2)](#GS89@Gs2@EN) [(d)](#GS89@Gs2@Hpd@EN) if satisfied that it is reasonable to do so.
