81 Mining lease
(1) [Section 81 Subsection (1) amended by No. 24 of 2013, s. 86, Applied:28 Jun 2013] On granting an application for a lease, the Minister is to issue a lease.
(2) A lease is to –
(a) be in an approved form; and
(b) include the following particulars:
(i) [Section 81 Subsection (2) amended by No. 24 of 2013, s. 86, Applied:28 Jun 2013] a description of the area of land comprised in the lease;
(ii) the total area of that land;
(iii) [Section 81 Subsection (2) amended by No. 24 of 2013, s. 86, Applied:28 Jun 2013] the minerals, or category of minerals, to which the lease relates;
(iv) the terms and conditions to which it is subject;
(v) the period for which it is in force.
(3) The Minister may issue a lease with the endorsement "subject to survey".
(4) If a survey is carried out in respect of the area of land comprised in the lease, the Minister is to provide a supplement to the lease specifying the description of that area as ascertained by the survey.
