### 81 Mining lease > > (1)  [*\[Section 81 Subsection (1) amended by No. 24 of 2013, s. 86, Applied:28 Jun 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-06-28/act-2013-024#GS86@Hpa@EN) On granting an application for a lease, the Minister is to issue a lease. > > > (2)  A lease is to – > > > > > > (a) be in an approved form; and > > > > > > > (b) include the following particulars: > > > > > > > > > > (i) [*\[Section 81 Subsection (2) amended by No. 24 of 2013, s. 86, Applied:28 Jun 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-06-28/act-2013-024#GS86@Hpb@EN) a description of the area of land comprised in the lease; > > > > > > > > > > > (ii) the total area of that land; > > > > > > > > > > > (iii) [*\[Section 81 Subsection (2) amended by No. 24 of 2013, s. 86, Applied:28 Jun 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-06-28/act-2013-024#GS86@Hpc@EN) the minerals, or category of minerals, to which the lease relates; > > > > > > > > > > > (iv) the terms and conditions to which it is subject; > > > > > > > > > > > (v) the period for which it is in force. > > > (3)  The Minister may issue a lease with the endorsement "subject to survey". > > > (4)  If a survey is carried out in respect of the area of land comprised in the lease, the Minister is to provide a supplement to the lease specifying the description of that area as ascertained by the survey.
