### 76 Objections to mining lease
> > (1) [*\[Section 76 Subsection (1) amended by No. 44 of 2017, s. 31, Applied:21 Nov 2017\]*](/view/html/inforce/2017-11-21/act-2017-044#GS31@EN) Any person with an interest or estate in the area of land in respect of which a lease is sought, or who is the holder of a mineral tenement in respect of that area, may object to the granting of the application of a lease in respect of that area.

> > (2) An objection is to –

> > > > (a) be in writing; and

> > > > (b) specify the grounds; and

> > > > (c) be accompanied by the prescribed fee; and

> > > > (d) be lodged with the Registrar within 28 days after the date of marking out.
