### 45A Exploration without licence
> [*\[Section 45A Inserted by No. 24 of 2013, s. 50, Applied:28 Jun 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-06-28/act-2013-024#GS50@EN) A person must not, on an area of land comprised in a licence, explore for minerals to which the licence relates, unless the person –
>
> > > (a) is the holder of the licence; or
> >
> > > (b) is authorised, by the holder of the licence to explore for the minerals; or
> >
> > > (c) is exploring for the minerals under a contract of service, or a contract for services, with the holder of the licence; or
> >
> > > (d) has obtained the written consent of the holder of the licence.
