### 32 Application for transfer of exploration licence > > (1)  A licensee may apply to the Minister for approval to transfer a licence. > > > (2)  An application is to be – > > > > > > (a) in an approved form; and > > > > > > > (b) accompanied by the executed instrument of transfer; and > > > > > > > (c) accompanied by the prescribed fee; and > > > > > > > (d) lodged with the Registrar within 28 days after the transfer is executed. > > > (3)  The Registrar may extend the period referred to in [subsection (2)](#GS32@Gs2@EN) [(d)](#GS32@Gs2@Hpd@EN) if satisfied that it is reasonable to do so. > > > (4)  [*\[Section 32 Subsection (4) substituted by No. 24 of 2013, s. 28, Applied:28 Jun 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-06-28/act-2013-024#GS28@Hpa@EN) The Registrar, by notice in writing, is to notify of an application lodged under this section in relation to a licence any person who has lodged a caveat under [Part 10](#HP10@EN) in relation to the licence. > > > (5)  [*\[Section 32 Subsection (5) amended by No. 24 of 2013, s. 28, Applied:28 Jun 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-06-28/act-2013-024#GS28@Hpb@EN) A notice under [subsection (4)](#GS32@Gs4@EN) is to be sent by certified mail within 14 days after the application is lodged. > > > (6)  [*\[Section 32 Subsection (6) substituted by No. 24 of 2013, s. 28, Applied:28 Jun 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-06-28/act-2013-024#GS28@Hpc@EN) A person who has lodged a caveat under [Part 10](#HP10@EN) in relation to a licence may, within 14 days after receipt of a notice under [subsection (5)](#GS32@Gs5@EN) in relation to the licence, object to the Mining Tribunal against an application for approval to transfer the licence.
