### 27 Exemption from conditions of exploration licence > > (1)  A licensee may apply to the Minister for an exemption from any condition of a licence. > > > (2)  An application is to be – > > > > > > (a) in an approved form; and > > > > > > > (b) accompanied by the prescribed fee; and > > > > > > > (c) lodged with the Registrar. > > > (3)  The Minister may – > > > > > > (a) grant the application; or > > > > > > > (b) refuse to grant the application. > > > (4)  If the Minister grants the application, the Minister is to issue the licensee with a certificate of exemption. > > > (5)  A certificate of exemption – > > > > > > (a) remains in force for the period specified in the certificate; and > > > > > > > (b) is subject to any conditions specified in the certificate.
