### 24 Term of exploration licence

> > > (a) for a period of 5 years from the date on which the application is granted, in respect of Category 1, 2 and 3 minerals; or
> >
> > > (b) [*\[Section 24 Amended by No. 24 of 2013, s. 22, Applied:28 Jun 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-06-28/act-2013-024#GS22@Hpb@EN) for a period the Minister determines from the date on which the application is granted, in respect of Category 4 minerals; or
