### 184 Notice of lodgment
> > (1) [*\[Section 184 Subsection (1) amended by No. 24 of 2013, s. 121, Applied:28 Jun 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-06-28/act-2013-024#GS121@EN) On receipt of a caveat lodged under [section 183](#GS183@EN) , the Registrar is to give notice to the holder of the mineral tenement affected of the caveat of the lodgment.

> > (2) A notice is to be –

> > > > (a) in writing; and
> > >
> > > > (b) sent by registered post.
>
> > (3) The holder of the mineral tenement affected may appeal to the Mining Tribunal against the caveat within 14 days after receipt of the notice.
