### 174 Removal of persons > > (1) A police officer or inspector may remove from land held under a mineral tenement a person who, without the consent of the holder of the mineral tenement – > > > > > > (a) is mining on that land; or > > > > > > > (b) is taking or removing any minerals from the land. > > > (2) In exercising a power under [subsection (1)](#GS174@Gs1@EN) , a police officer or inspector may use any force that is reasonable to remove the person.
