### sec.204B Deferral of payment of rent for resource authorities A regulation may provide for an arrangement for deferring the payment of rent payable for a resource authority because of hardship, including providing for when the arrangement ends. Subsection (3) applies if— the holder of a relevant authority is required, under a relevant Resource Act for the authority or a condition of the authority, to pay the rent payable for the authority— within a particular period; or on, before or by a particular day; and under an arrangement mentioned in subsection (1) , the payment of the rent is deferred to a later day.
