### sec.204 Fees—evidence and timing of payment This section applies if— a document must be accompanied by a fee when lodged under this Act; and an approved payment method is used to pay the fee; and the fee is received by the entity to which the fee must be paid within the prescribed period for receiving the fee using the approved payment method. The fee is taken to accompany the document if the document is accompanied by evidence of the payment of the fee using the approved payment method. a receipt for an electronic funds transfer If the document is accompanied by evidence of the fee having been paid using the approved payment method, the fee is taken to have been paid at the time the person lodged the document under this Act. (sec.204-ssec.1) This section applies if— a document must be accompanied by a fee when lodged under this Act; and an approved payment method is used to pay the fee; and the fee is received by the entity to which the fee must be paid within the prescribed period for receiving the fee using the approved payment method. (sec.204-ssec.2) The fee is taken to accompany the document if the document is accompanied by evidence of the payment of the fee using the approved payment method. a receipt for an electronic funds transfer (sec.204-ssec.3) If the document is accompanied by evidence of the fee having been paid using the approved payment method, the fee is taken to have been paid at the time the person lodged the document under this Act. - (a) a document must be accompanied by a fee when lodged under this Act; and - (b) an approved payment method is used to pay the fee; and - (c) the fee is received by the entity to which the fee must be paid within the prescribed period for receiving the fee using the approved payment method.
