9 Estimate by Secretary of amount to be contributed to Fund

9 Estimate by Secretary of amount to be contributed to Fund

(1) The Secretary is to make an estimate before the beginning of each relevant period of the amount required to be contributed to the Fund to meet the payments required to be made from the Fund during that period.

(2) A relevant period is any financial year or, in the case of the financial year commencing 1 July 2005, such other period (if any) as the Secretary determines for the purposes of this section.

(3) The Secretary’s estimate for a relevant period has no effect unless it is approved by the Minister.
