18 Working out compensation for parts of weeks for declared members

For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of number of days in subsection 196(3) of the Act, the number of days for a declared member is: (a) if the member is on career transition assistance—5 days; or (b) if paragraph (a) does not apply, and the member is engaged in paid employment—the number of days the member normally works in a week; or (c) if neither paragraph (a) nor (b) applies—5 days.
