17 Amount of compensation where a person has redeemed an amount under the DRCA

(1) This section sets out the amount of compensation for a week that a person who has previously redeemed an amount under section 30 of the DRCA is entitled to under Part 4 of Chapter 4 of the MRCA. (2) The amount is worked out using the following formula: Start formula Subdivision C or D compensation amount minus Weekly amount end formula where:

Subdivision C or D compensation amount for a person for a week means the amount of compensation that person would have been paid for the week if Subdivision C or D of Division 2 of Part 4 of Chapter 4 of the MRCA had applied.

weekly amount means the amount for a week that was redeemed at the date of the determination under section 30 of the DRCA.
