48  Amount of compensation for journey and accommodation costs  (1) The amount of compensation that the Commonwealth is liable to pay under section 47 is the amount determined by the rehabilitation authority to be the amount reasonably incurred in making the journey or remaining at the place.  (2) In determining the amount, the rehabilitation authority must have regard to:  (a) the means of transport available to the person for the journey; and  (b) the route or routes by which the person could have travelled; and  (c) the accommodation available to the person.
