45  What may be done as part of an assessment  (1) This section applies if the person’s rehabilitation authority carries out an assessment under section 44 of the person’s capacity for rehabilitation.  (2) The rehabilitation authority may seek the assistance of a person the authority is satisfied has suitable qualifications or expertise to provide assistance.  (3) The rehabilitation authority may take into account any relevant information of which it is aware.  (4) The rehabilitation authority may require the person to undergo an examination under section 46.
