416 Notice to Commission of retirement of person (a) a person who is or was a member is receiving, or is entitled to receive, compensation under this Act; and (b) the person retires from his or her employment; and (c) the person was a member of a Commonwealth superannuation scheme immediately before retiring. (2) The person must, within 14 days after the person retires from his or her employment, give a written notice to the Commission: (a) stating that the person has retired; and (b) specifying the date of the retirement; and (c) identifying the Commonwealth superannuation scheme of which the person was a member immediately before his or her retirement. (3) An offence under subsection (2) is an offence of strict liability.
