194  Civilian daily earnings or pre‑CFTS pay if working them out is impracticable  (1) This section applies for the purposes of sections 98, 112, 147, 156 and 171 if it is impracticable to work out the civilian daily earnings or pre‑CFTS pay for a person.  (2) The civilian daily earnings or pre‑CFTS pay for a person before the relevant date is the civilian daily earnings or pre‑CFTS pay before that date of another person performing comparable work. relevant date for a person means:  (a) if section 98 applies—the onset date for the person’s incapacity; and  (b) if section 156 applies—the date the person last ceased to be a member of the Defence Force; and  (c) if section 112, 147 or 171 applies—the date the person began his or her last period of continuous full‑time service.
