Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this does: This instrument updates the postal addresses where certain Working Holiday Visa applications must be sent.

Who it affects: People applying for a second (or subsequent) Working Holiday Visa who have previously entered Australia on one. If you're a first-time applicant, this doesn't concern you.

What changes:

The old PO Box address from 2005 is cancelled
Two new PO Box addresses are now specified:
- PO Box 1496, Hobart TAS 7001
- PO Box 1269, Cairns QLD 4870

Why it matters: If you're submitting a paper application for another Working Holiday Visa, you must send it (with correct postage) to one of these specific Hobart or Cairns addresses. Sending it to the wrong place could delay or invalidate your application.
