Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This is a short ministerial notice that tells visa applicants where to send their paperwork if they are applying through the Perth Offshore Parents Centre.

What it does:

Specifies a PO Box address in Northbridge, WA for applications sent by regular mail (Locked Bag 7)
Specifies a street address in Perth, WA for applications delivered by courier (411 Wellington Street)

Who it affects: People lodging certain visa applications (specifically offshore parent visas) who must submit physical documents rather than applying online. The law requires these applications to be sent to an address specified by the Minister—this notice sets those addresses.

Why it matters: If you send your application to the wrong address, it might not be considered validly lodged, which could affect your visa timeline or eligibility. This notice ensures applicants know exactly where to send documents depending on whether they use Australia Post or a private courier.
