Commonwealth legislation
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This instrument revokes an earlier specification and sets out which Commonwealth, State and Territory laws, agencies, named positions and classes of employees may access Australian immigration passenger movement records under regulation 3.10A. It lists the specific legislation (Schedule A) and, in Schedule B, the agencies, job titles/levels and the narrow purposes for which movement data may be used. The change matters because it controls who can obtain travel and residence data for verification, compliance, law enforcement, social services, consular and intelligence functions.
