Commonwealth legislation
This instrument (LIN 23/053) replaces the prior specification and formally designates a list of chemicals — identified by CAS numbers in its Schedule — as "chemicals of security concern" for two subclauses of Schedule 8 to the Migration Regulations 1994.
It doesn’t itself create penalties or procedures; rather it changes which substances will trigger the regulatory regime in those subclauses, affecting persons and businesses subject to Schedule 8 obligations.
