20 Interaction with Level 1 Commonwealth contribution and run‑off cover

For the following purposes: (a) determining the limit of the eligible insurer’s liability under the contract of insurance; (b) paragraphs 18(1)(f) and (g); an amount that an eligible insurer has paid or is liable to pay, or would have been liable to pay, under a contract of insurance is not to be reduced on account of a Level 1 Commonwealth contribution, or a run‑off cover Commonwealth contribution, paid or payable, or that would have been payable, to the eligible insurer.
