sec.44 Consideration procedure
Subject to this Act, the commissioner must consider an application for a cultural recognition order in accordance with any guidelines made by the commissioner under section 108 . Also, the commissioner, in considering the application— must act in a way that is fair and reasonable; and must maintain confidentiality; and must comply with natural justice; and may have regard to any matter the commissioner considers relevant to the application, including any previous applications made in relation to the person the subject of the application; and may make inquiries the commissioner considers appropriate. (sec.44-ssec.1) Subject to this Act, the commissioner must consider an application for a cultural recognition order in accordance with any guidelines made by the commissioner under section 108 .
