603 Information to be given to transferring patient
As soon as practicable after a transfer order is made, the authorised psychiatrist must ensure that all reasonable steps are taken—
(a) to inform the patient that the patient is subject to the transfer order and will be transferred to receive treatment for the patient's mental illness; and
(b) to explain the purpose and effect of the order to the patient; and
(c) to give a copy of the order and a statement of rights to the patient.
