500 Power to take evidence on oath or affirmation in investigation hearing

(1) If a person is required to appear before the Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission under an investigation notice, the Commission may require the person to give evidence or answer questions on oath or affirmation.

(2) A Mental Health and Wellbeing Commissioner, or a member of the staff of the Commission who is authorised to do so, may administer an oath or affirmation to a person for the purposes of subsection (1).
