358 Divisions of the Mental Health Tribunal
(1) The following divisions of the Mental Health Tribunal are established—
(a) the general division;
(b) the special division.
(2) The general division of the Mental Health Tribunal must hear and determine all matters within the jurisdiction of the Tribunal except those relating to—
(a) the performance of electroconvulsive treatment or neurosurgery for mental illness; or
(b) the provision of intensive monitored supervision.
(3) The special division of the Mental Health Tribunal must hear and determine applications for—
(a) the performance of electroconvulsive treatment or neurosurgery for mental illness; or
(b) the provision of intensive monitored supervision.
