313 Terms and conditions of appointment of a member

(1) A member of a regional mental health and wellbeing board—

(a) is to be appointed for the period, not exceeding 3 years, specified in the instrument of appointment; and

(c) must not hold office for more than 9 consecutive years unless the Minister is satisfied that exceptional circumstances exist which justify the member holding office for a longer period; and

(d) is entitled to be paid the remuneration and allowances fixed by the Governor in Council from time to time.

(2) The Public Administration Act 2004 (other than Part 3 of that Act) applies to a member in respect of the office of member.
