150 Information to be given to assessment patient
As soon as practicable after a registered medical practitioner or an authorised mental health practitioner makes an assessment order, the practitioner must ensure that all reasonable steps are taken—
(a) to inform the assessment patient that the patient is subject to an assessment order; and
(b) to explain the purpose and effect of the order to the assessment patient; and
(c) to give a copy of the order and a statement of rights to the assessment patient.
